오에 겐자부로와 ‘전후민주주주의’ ― ‘미시마 신화’를 중심으로 ―
이 글에서는 오에 겐자부로의 ‘전후민주주의’를 ‘미시마 사건’을 모티브로 한 그의 작품들을 통해서 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 이 글에서는 「친히 내 눈물을 훔쳐 주실 날」, 「문 맨」, 『안녕, 내 책이여!』을 대상으로, 그 속의 미시마 사건이 각각 어떤 식 으로 문제시되고, 더불어 어떻게 상대화되고 있는지를 밝히고자 한다. 「친히 내 눈물을 훔쳐주실 날」은 소설 속 화자의 8‧15에 아버지가 궐기를 일으켰다는 날조된 ‘기억’을 통해 아무런 저항 없이 패전을 받아들인 일에 대한 전후 일본인들의 트 라우마를 선명하게 언어의 지평에 올릴 뿐만 아니라. 그러한 저항의 부재가 미시마 사건 은 물론이거니와 이와 유사한 정동으로 반복적으로 출현할 수 있음을 경고한다. 「문 맨」 에서는 미시마 사건을 전유하여 퍼포먼스적인 죽음을 통해 사회적 메시지를 내려고 하는 개인적 폭력의 위험성을, 해석에서의 윤리적 측면에서 비판적으로 조망한다. 9‧11 사건 이후 미시마 사건을 예로 자위대를 이용해 일본 사회를 변혁하려는 테러의 시도를 다루 고 있는 안녕, 내 책이여!에서는 미시마 사건의 반복 가능성을 직접 검토하는데, 이는 그것이 이제부터 발생할 폭력의 일종의 ‘징후’로서 여전히 기능할 수 있음을 수용한 후, 그것의 유효성의 소멸을 다시 한번 확정하는 작업으로 진행된다. 이상의 분석을 통해 오에의 ‘전후민주주의’는, 단순히 법 제도를 옹호하자는 구호의 반복으로 끝나는 것이 아니라, 자신과 이념과 감수성이 다르고, 바로 그 때문에 심지어 폭력적일 수도 있는 타자를 무조건 배제하는 것이 아니라, 그러한 타자와 함께 살아왔고, 살아갈 수밖에 없는 세계를 가능한 구체적이고 리얼하게 상정하는 것임을 확인할 수 있다.

Oe Kenzaburo and “post-war democracy” : Focusing on “Mishima Myth”
The purpose of this article is to analyze what actually Oe Kenzaburo's ‘postwar democracy’ is by examining his works on the ‘Mishima Case’. To this end, the current article evaluated how the Mishima incident in the text is represented and made issue on focusing “Mizukara waganamidawo nuguitamauhi”, “Moon Man” and “Good-bye, My Book!” “Mizukara waganamidawon nuguitamauhi” not only clearly illustrated the trauma of the post-war Japanese for accepting defeat without any resistance through the fabricated “memory” that his father caused an uprising on August 15 of the novel, but also warned that the absence of such resistance may repeatedly appear in a similar way as the Mishima incident. The “Moon Man” critically examines through performance-based death that monopolizes the Mishima case. In “Good-bye, My Book!” the possibility of repeating the Mishima case was directly reviewed, stating that it can still function as a kind of ‘indication' of violence that will occur from now on, and then confirming the disappearance of its effectiveness once again. Through the above analysis, it can be confirmed that Oe's “post-war democracy” does not end with a repetition of slogans to defend the legal system, and does not unconditionally exclude others who may be different from oneself and ideology and sensitivity
